Pfleider Pfoods took 9 trips to the podium at this prestigious fiery foods competition in Orange County, CA. The highlight was a complete sweep of the awards in the "Chile Specific" category. In this competition and the 2005 Scovies, AOC sauces were the most celebrated sauces in both events. Our press release is in the attached Word file.

Pfleider Pfoods gourmet chipotle sauces won multiple awards in the Five Star Reviews 1st Annual Fiery Star Awards. Crazzberry Fiesta Chipotle Sauce won an Editor's Award while our (former) brand name was honored for "Catchiest Name" (judged 1st on name, then the taste). This brings the 2005 year-to-date award total to 11. Not bad for our first year.

This new name better reflects our target market and the upscale, gourmet nature of our products. The award winning products with the "BOLD Taste and Pleasing Heat" remain the same while the eye-catching graphics and pepperheads have been retained on our enhanced label design.

Schizophrenic Chipotle (now "The Art of Chipotle" brand) was the most honored sauce of this prestigious national competition. Pfleider Pfoods walked away with 5 awards for our sauces and 1 for our company & product logo. The highlight was taking 1st and 3rd in the "Medium Heat Sauce" category with Sweet Heat Addiction and Crazzberry Fiesta respectively. Crazzberry and Smokey Red Sensation were multiple award winners.
Pfleider Pfoods was also honored for COMPANY AND PRODUCT LOGO. Our eye-catching design demands more attention from passing consumers. It features the Pfleider Pfamily and was created by founder Tom Pfleider utilizing favorite pfamily photos and design software to make the pepperheads.
All of our award winning sauces feature our Gourmet Chipotle Paste.
